Meetings, Conferences, Training Courses, Rehearsals, Ceilidhs, Performances, Activities or Social Events. We can help!
Please note that we are currently undergoing a major redevelopment of parts of the Centre. This was due to complete in late November 2020, but due to the current Covid19 lockdown, is likely to extend to late summer 2021. Aside of the lockdown, this development work will lead to some disruption but will end up with a fully accessible and more user friendly Centre. As a result, our Kirk o'Field and Harry Miller Halls will be unavailable during this time and St Ninians Hall and Baillie Room will be under increased diary pressure. However, we do have access to other halls in the area that we are managing, including Life Church just opposite us, so please do not be put off contacting us. We will do our best to accommodate you during this time.
We have one large and one medium sized halls, plus two meeting rooms that can serve your needs. Additionally, we partner with Life Church to make their facilities available for you too. These all accommodate a range of activities. Some of which are run by us and key partners, others are through bookings by external groups. We aim to promote a welcoming, inclusive and hospitable community through the wide range of activities within.

Kirk O'Field Hall
More than just renting space, regular Centre users become part of the "Charteris Community" in order to share experiences, learning and potentially clients as well. This is part of the uniqueness of this venue as we strive to enable the best support to local people as possible.
All our spaces are available for rent at reasonable rates, with discounts available for long term or regular bookings plus support will be given to charitable organisations. Please note that only St Ninians and Kirk o'Field Halls have wheelchair access at present but please notify us ahead of time so we can be prepared for this. Please also be aware that the toilets are not wheelchair friendly although the toilet next to St Ninians Hall is suitable for ambulant disabled people. (We will be addressing all these issues in our redevelopment.)
Please contact us to discuss your requirements and receive a quote for your booking. Our diary is also available for you to view through this link.
St Ninians Centre & Cowan Offices
We also have some serviced office spaces that are available for longer term rental. At present, these are all taken but if you wish to register an interest or to find out more about our serviced office provision, then please get in touch with your requirements and to find out more.
You are welcome to provide your own catering for your event but to make things easier, we can also provide for your needs in partnership with the Grassmarket Community Project.
You can download the basics of what we can offer you here, but please also ask when booking if you require more information.
